    Emory University junior Lorne McManigle and sophomore Zahra Dawson earned all-America honors for their performances at the 2010 NCAA Division III Women’s Tennis Championships. The duo teamed up to finish second among all Division III teams in the NCAA Doubles Tournament.

    Emory University’s Lindsay Reidenbach was a perfect 2-0 in both singles and doubles matches, including the match-clinching victories in each of the fourth-seeded Eagles’ two NCAA Tournament contests. During Saturday’s second round match against Methodist University, Reidenbach did not drop a game, teaming with Jordan Wylie to win the third doubles match 8-0, and later clinching a 5-0 Emory win with a 6-0, 6-0 victory in the fifth singles match.

    (Tennis) Emory University’s Lorne McManigle won her singles and doubles matches during the Eagles’ 7-2 win over Brenau University on Sunday. McManigle claimed a come from behind 4-6, 7-5, 10-5 win in the second singles match over the 46th-ranked NAIA player in the country.

    (Tennis) Emory University’s Zahra Dawson won both of her doubles matches and two of her three singles matches at the University Athletic Association (UAA) Tournament last weekend. In the opening match of the tournament against NYU, Dawson defeated her first-singles counterpart 6-4, 6-4, and claimed an 8-1 win in the first doubles match with teammate Lorne McManigle.

    (Tennis) Emory University’s Jordan Wylie earned victories in both her singles and doubles matches, keying a 7-2 Eagles victory over Berry College on Saturday. Wylie earned a straight-set victory in the third singles match, winning 6-0, 6-4 over her counterpart.

    (Tennis) Emory University senior Sara Vrabec was a perfect 3-0 in singles matches last week. Vrabec earned a 6-2, 6-1 victory over her sixth-singles counterpart during Emory’s 8-1 team win over the 13th-ranked University of Mary Washington.

    (Tennis) Emory University sophomore Zahra Dawson led the second-ranked Eagles to a 6-3 win over eighth-ranked DePauw University with wins in both her singles and doubles matches. Dawson teamed with Lorne McManigle to earn the Eagles their only doubles victory of the match, defeating her first-doubles counterparts, who are ranked third in the Central Region, by a score of 8-3.

    (Tennis) Emory University freshman Jordan Wylie recorded a perfect 2-0 record in singles play, and a 3-0 mark in doubles matches, during three contests last week for the Eagles. Playing in the second-singles slot, Wylie earned a 6-2, 6-0 win over her counterpart from Coe College, and a 6-1, 6-0 victory over her University of Rochester opponent.

    (Tennis) Emory University senior Tshema Nash completed a 4-0 record in singles matches during the week, leading the third-ranked Eagles to their first ITA Division III Women’s Indoor Championship. Nash won the tournament-clinching match against fourth-ranked Chicago, claiming a dominating 6-1, 6-0 victory over her counterpart in the fifth-singles match.

    (Tennis) Emory University junior Lindsay Reidenbach completed a perfect 4-0 week in both singles and doubles matches for the third-ranked Eagles’ women’s tennis team. Reidenbach won each of her four singles matches during the week, including wins in the second, third and fourth singles role.

    (Tennis) Emory University sophomore Zahra Dawson won her second-singles match during the third-ranked Eagles’ season-opening match against Clayton State University, the 10th-ranked Division II team in the nation. Dawson defeated her counterpart in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2.

    (Tennis) Emory University’s Lorne McManigle won the Wilson/ITA South Region Singles and Doubles Championships this past weekend. McManigle, the reigning NCAA Division III singles champion and top singles seed in this weekend’s tournament, defeated teammate and second-seed Zahra Dawson 7-5, 6-2 in the championship match.

    Emory University's Lorne McManigle won the singles title at the 2009 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championships. McManigle, the fifth seed in the tournament, defeated Ploy Suthijindawong of the College of St. Scholastica 6-2, 6-1 in the championship match to become the second individual champion in the program's history. The sophomore went 5-0 during the tournament.
