Sophomore Breanah Bourque was named the NCCA Volleyball Atlanta Regional Most Outstanding Player after helping the Eagles to three wins and advancing them to the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Championships next weekend.
Senior Amelia McCall keyed the Eagles to three big wins over the weekend, two of which came against teams ranked among the top five, at the Juniata Invitational, helping the squad raise its overall slate to 23-4.
Senior Amelia McCall helped the Eagles to a 3-0 record at the UAA Round Robin I this past weekend. The 5-foot-10 McCall played in all nine of the team’s sets and averaged a team-leading 4.22 kills and 4.11 digs (second high on the squad) per game.
Junior outside hitter Jessica McAlvany helped the Eagles to a 3-1 record at the UW-Whitewater Invitational last weekend. The 6-0 McAlvany played all 14 of the teams sets and averaged a team-best 3.79 kills per game while posting an impressive 41.7 attack percentage.
Junior middle Ali Wright paced the team with a career-high tying 13 kills while turning in a solid 47.8 hitting percentage (13-223) vs. Lee University on Friday (Sept. 17).

Sophomore Breanah Bourque helped the Eagles to a 5-0 record that included a championship performance at the Maryville College Tournament. The 5-foot-10 Bourque recorded double-figure kills in all five matches and ended the opening week of play with a 48.3 hitting percentage (66-9118).
