Senior Amelia McCall led the Emory effort in the Newport News NCAA Regional, averaging a team-high 4.89 kills per set while finishing with a team-leading .379 hitting percentage.
Sophomore libero Molly Landers turned in some outstanding defensive play in helping the Eagles to a 3-1 record at the Emory National Invitational. The 5-foot-5 Landers averaged a team-high 4.79 digs per set that played a key role in Emory’s four opponents mustering just a .053 hitting percentage over the weekend.
Senior outside Amelia McCall helped No.3-ranked Emory to a 4-0 record at the UAA Round Robin II. Playing in 11 of the team’s 14 sets, the 5-10 McCall topped the squad with a 4.00 kills-per-set average while registering a .402 attack percentage (44-7—92).
Junior middle Breanah Bourque earned Emory National All-Tournament honors after helping the No. 3-ranked Eagles to four victories that raised the team’s overall record to 24-1.
Junior right side Alena Ransom helped the Eagles to a 3-0 mark at the UAA Round Robin I, playing in 10 of the team’s 12 sets and posting a hitting percentage of .459 (19-2—37) along with a team-high 0.80 blocks per-set average.
Senior outside hitter Amelia McCall was named the MVP of the Doc Partin Classic after helping the Eagles to a 4-0 record that included a pair of victories over teams that were ranked among the nation’s top 20.
Junior middle Breanah Bourque led the Eagles in both kills (44) and hitting percentage (.374) this past weekend in helping the team to a 3-1 record at the Wittenberg University Invitational.
