Emory is led by Mike Twardoski, who is in his 15th season as a head coach, all of which have been spent at the Eagles' helm.  Twardoski has a career 418-200-1 ledger since taking over the position prior to the 2000 season, and has led the Eagles to eight UAA Championships and seven NCAA Tournament appearances, including three trips to the World Series and a second-place finish at the 2007 NCAA Championships.  He is assisted by Associate Coach Bobby Perez and Pitching Coach Connor McGuiness, along with former major league reliever Greg McMichael.

Rochester Warriors
Rochester, a NAIA program, will open its 2014 campaign against Emory this weekend, after going 9-24 last season, including a 4-15 mark in road games.  The squad is returning 17 players from last year's team, which hit .270 for the campaign and averaged 4.1 runs per game.  The Warriors' pitchers had a 8.61 team ERA last year, with opponents' batting .348 against them.

The Warriors are led by first-year head coach Ryan Chipka, who is his first season at the squad's helm, after spending the previous year as the team's assistant coach.  Chipka graduated from Rochester in 2012, after serving as the only four-year captain in the program's history.  He is assisted by Rick Desotell, Alex Hacias and Scott Nestor.
